The Advisor at Great Waters Financial is responsible for maintaining client relationships, holistic plan communication, and helping align financial resources with values and goals that are meaningful to our clients. The role is influential in face-to-face interaction that guides clients through life transitions, like moving from work to retirement, and helping to navigate through change in an intentional way. This position serves in a team atmosphere to create consistent experiences for all clients and team members.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Series 65
    • Life & Health Insurance Licenses (after 90 days)
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills 

Future certifications may be required * 

Responsibilities:

    • Provide guidance and advice to clients with respect to their financial management and investment decisions.
    • Work closely with clients to understand their values, dreams and goals, and accurately communicate those desires with our team and keep them at the forefront of all of our interactions.  
    • Partner and collaborate closely with our Wealth Management Team to build, create and develop the best financial plan(s) for clients. 
    • Conduct client communications outside of meetings and strategy sessions
    • Attend client events
    • Ensure completion of tasks and opportunities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in accordance with provided timelines.
    • Collaborate on special projects to continually enhance the client experience 
    • Stay up to date on market conditions, maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, and maintain licenses/certifications with ongoing continuing education courses.

This enables the Client-facing Advising Team to serve Clients in a more relational, educational and efficient way.” – Devon Johnson, Financial Planner 

The Financial Planner at Great Waters Financial is responsible for serving as a liaison between new Clients, existing Clients, and our client-facing Advising team. This role serves our Clients by gathering data, building customized financial plans, and creating recommendations that align with each Client’s individual risk tolerance and defined goals.

Requirements:

    • Series 65 (or Series 7 and Series 66)*
    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain financial plans 
    • Input Client data into software systems 
    • Facilitate Client meeting preparation
    • Prepare Client-facing Advisor meeting agendas
    • Providing Client recommendations  
    • Completing assigned tasks within appropriate software platforms
    • Maintain updated knowledge of regulations, practices and financial products

This role serves as the foundation of collaboration and service in all elements of the retirement planning process, to ensure the Clients’ goals and dreams are fulfilled, while providing the best experience possible.” – Alex Carlson, Client Experience Advisor 

The Client Experience Advisor at Great Waters Financial is the champion of service, problem solving, positivity and detail orientation. This role serves on a team as a liaison between Clients and our Client-facing Advising Team, fielding any questions via email or on the phone that a Client may have outside of their face-to-face meetings. As the champions of service, the Client Experience Advisor is quickly accessible to Clients and is responsible for advising and empowering them to navigate and problem-solve through a variety of challenges. 

You are:

  • Comfortable and confident speaking over the phone 
  • Excited to be part of a team
  • Genuinely interested in the financial world 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Series 65 (or Series 7 and Series 66)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Responsibilities:

  • Field all Client questions and communication outside of face-to-face meetings with their Advisor
  • Set up timelines for corresponding action items on service platforms (Salesforce, Orion, Moneyguide, Holistaplan)
  • Manage client website support
  • Advise clients in regards to their plan outside of face-to-face meetings with their Advisor
